Phoenix was born on December 1st, the National Day of Romania!  

My home country was reborn from the ashes on December 22, 1989 with the fall of the communism, just like Phoenix. And this piece is a reminder that we all have a second chance to life. Phoenix is the first piece of The Ladies - The Unbroken!  

She exploded in the kiln and was put together using the Kintsugi method, the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold!
